Web Development

High-performance web platforms built for speed, search, and AI visibility.

A slow, poorly structured site is invisible to both search engines and the AI assistants people now ask before they ever visit a website — and by the time paid ads are covering for weak organic performance, the underlying problem has usually been ignored for years.

The stakes have shifted again. AI-generated answers now shape a majority of search interactions, and AI assistants are projected to handle roughly a quarter of all searches this year, rising toward half within a few years — a site engineered only for a ranked list of blue links is increasingly invisible on the surface where people are actually asking questions first.

We build web platforms on modern, fast architecture — clean semantic markup, real Core Web Vitals, and a full structured-data graph tying every page to one consistent entity — so the site works for people and for the AI answer engines increasingly deciding who gets recommended. Content is written to answer the question a visitor, or an AI assistant summarising the page, actually has, with the fuller explanation underneath rather than buried three paragraphs down. A quarterly content-freshness review keeps both classic SEO and AI-citation signals current after launch, not just at ship.

Core Web Vitals remain the technical foundation both classic search and AI answer engines rely on to trust and retrieve a page — including the newer Interaction to Next Paint metric now rolling out as a core ranking signal — and structured data is what lets an AI system confirm what an entity actually is rather than guess from unstructured text. GEO builds directly on that foundation rather than replacing it: the same speed and markup work that wins classic SEO is the prerequisite an AI system checks before it will cite a page at all.

Frequently asked

What's the difference between SEO and what you call "GEO"?

Classic SEO optimises for a ranked list of results; GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) optimises for how AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI Overviews retrieve, evaluate and cite a page in a generated answer. The technical foundation — speed, clean markup, structured data — is shared, but GEO adds specific requirements: direct-answer content near the top of a page, consistent entity naming, and freshness signals.

Do you build on WordPress, or something else?

Almost always a modern framework with a headless CMS, not WordPress. It's faster by default, doesn't accumulate plugin bloat, and gives us full control over the structured data and performance work GEO depends on.

How fast should a website actually load?

We target a sub-2-second Time to Interactive and a 95+ Lighthouse score as a floor, not a stretch goal — both are load-bearing for conversion and for how AI crawlers and search engines weight the page.

Will investing in GEO hurt our classic SEO?

No — they share the same technical foundation. Brands that perform well in AI-generated answers are consistently the same ones with strong traditional SEO already in place. GEO adds direct-answer structure and consistent entity naming on top of that foundation rather than trading one off against the other.
